The project involves the duplication of the Bruce Highway from Veales Road to Greenvale Street and is designed to improved safety and efficiency on this section of the Bruce Highway. The project includes median unsignalised intersections, signalised and grade-separated solutions. The project will also include the duplication of priority sections of the highway in the vicinity, to provide four lanes, north of the existing four lane sections (in the vicinity of Veales Road).

The project will increase safety on this section of the Bruce Highway, by providing an improved road geometry, which will deliver safety benefits and improved traffic conditions for road users.
